Bramleigh offers a 2 bedroom farmstay cottage, supporting sustainable tourism in South Africa, without minimising on comfort. Tucked between mountains and indigenous forest, the setting promises a tranquil, rejuvenating stay.
Bramleigh Farm is ideal for families to enjoy life on the farm - watch goats being milked, collect eggs, feed chickens, play in the forest or swim in the dam. The peace and quiet attracts bird watchers, writers, photographers, nature enthusiasts, hikers, or those seeking a romantic, quiet getaway.
Besides for the chickens who promise daily entertainment (no re-runs, no adverts - guaranteed!), there is abundant birdlife, trails through the forest, cycling paths, picnic spots, braai facilities and access to the popular Midlands Meander.
Each bedroom features a wood burning stove for chilly Midlands evenings, king sized bed, patio and en suite bathroom with shower and bathtub.
Bramleigh runs off solar power, complete with electric blankets, heated towel rails, hairdryers, and energy efficient lighting, meaning a guilt-free stay, while still enjoying crisp white linen, natural soaps, and free WiFi.
Set in the orchard with views over the mountains and indigenous forest, as well as our veggie garden, and the goat stables for neighbours. Enjoy all the sights, sounds and activities a working farm has to offer. There is a private entrance with undercover parking for two vehicles.
Our small farm shop stocks our nutritious pasture raised products making self catering a breeze. Send us your order before arrival and we’ll stock your fridge for you, or browse in our self-service farm shop on site. Picnic meals using farm produce available on request.
After cooking up a storm with goodies from the farm, a glass of wine, and game of cards, curl up with a good book next to the wood fire in the bedroom. Soak away the day in the Victorian style bathtub before slipping between the crisp white sheets of the king sized bed.
